Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a practical training course and is for drivers to improve their skills and be able to drive more safely.

It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.

You’ll need a Pass Plus registered Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) to teach you and that’s where I can help and if I’ve already taught you to drive, its likely that you are already driving at this very high standard, so you shouldn’t find it hard.

You don’t have to have been taught by me initially, a quick telephone call and I will get you booked in and started!

Pass Plus training takes at least 6 hours. It has 6 modules, covering driving:

  1. In town
  2. In all weathers
  3. On rural roads
  4. At night
  5. On dual carriageways
  6. On motorways

All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory based, such as you take the course in the summer and are unable to cover all weathers, we can discuss theoretically.

You won’t need to take a test, but you’ll be assessed throughout the course by myself and it is an excellent way to build on your existing skills and knowledge to give you further experience for safe driving for life.  To pass you’ll have to reach the required standard in all modules.

You’ll then be sent a Pass Plus certificate after you’ve successfully finished your training. You’ll need this when applying for a car insurance discount.

If you would like to just do a section of the Pass Plus syllabus don’t worry I can arrange any aspect of the course to suit your requirements.  It’s as simple as a quick telephone call and it will be all organised, go on pick up the phone I am looking forward to it ringing!

4-hour motorways intensive course an individual module £120.

1-hour individual modules £30 per hour.
